The Quaich or "Cup of Welcome" has become a symbol of trust, honour and loyalty. This Quaich is beautifully presented on a wooden plinth for display. Embossed into the bottom of the Quaich itself you will find the gaelic words "Slainte mhath; Sguab as e" which translates to "Your very good health; polish it off". The thistle design on the lugs of this Quaich finish off this beautiful piece of pewter workmanship.
The Quaich measures 14cm across (from handle to handle).
This would make an ideal gift, or a wedding day accessory.
